Inside Sales Representative / Demand Generation
We currently have an opening for an Inside Sales Representative / Demand Generation position based in Ottawa.
This role represents the perfect opportunity for a talented individual with an aptitude for lead generation and sales. We offer a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus and commission on sales.
Successful candidates will enjoy a high degree of autonomy combined with structured training and coaching. The successful candidate will also enjoy close contact with sales executives for mentoring and support.
You will prospect and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging the latest in technology and tools available. You will identify and qualify appropriate accounts using existing methodologies and standards and work in a team dynamic to drive revenue and over-achieve your quota. You will leverage Salesforce.com to monitor and report on the progress of key lead generation activities at Purple Forge.
Your goal will be to create a consistent flow of quality new business opportunities for Purple Forge sales executives.

- Call into prospective accounts based on list provided by sales manager and developed by yourself
- Qualify accounts and initiate sales process by scheduling appointments
- Participate in customer sales presentations
- Build relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Business-to-business lead generation experience, software sales or services will be an advantage
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
This position is based in Ottawa, candidates outside of Ottawa will not be considered.
