How to crop / clean status bars on Android screen caps
When publishing your screen shots to Android, or for use in creating artwork, you will want to remove or clean the status bar on the screen cap. The Screenshot Cleaner (free) app or the paid version can help with this task. Screenshot Cleaner has a Google+ community that contributes custom statusbar graphics. Other alternatives include using an image editor such as Adobe to crop out or black out the undesired status indicators.
